Production site

A site reserved for innovation used to test all our applications in live conditions

The industrial production site is located in Durtal, in the Maine et Loire region, on the border of the Sarthe and Mayenne areas. The site is close to the A11 motorway, 2h30 from Paris. CMAR wanted a site adapted to its activity.

Covering a surface area of 3 hectares, the industrial unit is assigned to the design, production, pre-delivery tests, stock and spare part warehouse and our after-sales workshop. On the innovation side, our design office engineers work in an adapted space, encouraging creation using the latest technological tools to facilitate design.

Each activity has a suitable space and specialised teams. Part of the industrial site is reserved for special vehicles and another part is used to produce CMAR cleaners and high pressure scourers. All our machine parts are painted in last generation paint cabins. BROCK Public Works sweepers are prepared separately. There is also a military zone which is positioned in a specific area for confidentiality reasons. The After-sales workshop is located nearest the teams to guarantee quick communication to our clients.

The department is at the core of CMAR's sales policy.

The spare part warehouse is physically at the heart of the company. To test all our production before delivery, a specific test area has been installed for each activity. For road-rail, CMAR has its own Tram type tracks, but also its own SNCF type track. This makes it possible to carry out all deliveries and equipment acceptances on the Durtal site, using the most demanding curves and levels.

There is a specific military area to host our partners in the best conditions. Finally, there are different stone-paved and asphalt surfaces on the site to test CMAR sweepers, high pressure cleaners and hot water scourers in all the configurations clients use every day. The objective for the CMAR industrial site is to be at the premium level for all its products.

Great care is taken in the cleanliness of the premises and the respect of the machinery, which is regularly replaced so that the CMAR teams can work in the best conditions. CMAR is careful of the environment and is aware of the fundamental importance of environmental stakes. It contributes to reducing its CO2 emissions and its water consumption with an objective to have an energy self-sufficient building in the near future.

In total 4000 m² are used to manufacture CMAR vehicles and 2000 m² for after-sales and tests. Finally, our 2-level warehouse has a stock of 20,000 parts to meet client needs within 24 hours.
